Remove HydraBarrier from packaging.

Using the two plastic loops attached to fill cap, pull filler cap from HydraBarrier body until it pops out, providing easy access to the spout for filling.
Remove cap and fill using standard garden hose.

Once sufficiently filled, screw the cap back on the HydraBarrier.

To place HydraBarrier in desired location, simply pick up one end of HydraBarrier and drag to desired location. For 12ft and 24ft HydraBarrier's, it is recommended to put HydraBarrier in place prior to filling.
Keep in mind: Though HydraBarrier's are constructed of robust vinyl material, they can still be punctured if overly abused. Use common sense when placing near or dragging over sharp objects.

A - All orders are shipped within 1 business day of receipt. HydraBarriers ship via UPS Ground and typically take from 2 - 5 business days to arrive
Q - How do I use the HydraBarrier?
A - To use the HydraBarrier, simply fill with water, according to the guidlines defined above, then simply pick up one end of the HydraBarrier and drag to desired location. HydraBarriers, unlike traditional sandbags, are very easy to move and reposition as needed.
For 12ft and 24ft HydraBarrier's, it is recommended that hydraBarrier's are put in place prior to filling.
Q - How much water can a HydraBarrier divert ?
A - HydraBarriers are designed as a water diversion device and as such can divert endless streams of water. That being said HydraBarriers are intended for moderate use and are sufficient for moderate rainfall or other sources of steady water streams that need to be diverted.
Q - Can multiple HydraBarriers be used together?
A - Yes HydraBarriers were designed to work together to construct large barriers. Simply place HydraBarriers end to end to increase the length of the barrier. For optimum performance on long barriers it is recommended to use HydraBarrier Links to securely connect HydraBarrier's together.
Q - What happens if the water in my HydraBarrier freezes?
A - When HydraBarrier's are used in extreme cold conditions, it is recommended that they be filled to no more than 2/3 capacity. This will allow for expansion if the water freezes. The cold temperatures will not have any adverse affect on the HydraBarrier's material or construction, they can be continued to be used over and over.
Tip : The water in the HydraBarrier can be treated with antifreeze to avoid freezing .
Q - How do I store the HydraBarriers when I'm done?
A - Simply remove the filler cap and drain the water from the HydraBarrier and store in any convenient location. The HydraBarrier will be there waiting for the next it is needed.
Q - Are there any special care instructions?
A - Yes, though HydraBarriers are made out of industrial strength vinyl, they are not immune to punctures. Take care not to drag or place the HydraBarrier over sharp or abrasive objects.
Q - In the event that a HydraBarrier punctures, can they be repaired?
A - Yes, every HydraBarrier ships with vinyl patch that can be used to repair punctures.
Q - Can I store drinking water in a HydraBarrier?
A - No, water that is used in a HydraBarrier is not meant to be potable. However, the HydraBarrier is an excellent vehicle for storing or transporting non potable water.

A - HydraBarriers are made from industrial strength vinyl
Q - How much does a HydraBarrier weigh?
A - Empty 6ft HydraBarriers are very light weighing approximately 1 pound. Once filled with water a single HydraBarrier can weigh in excess of 75 lbs.
12ft HydraBarrier's weigh approximately 3 lbs when empty and 24 ft HydraBarrier's weigh apprximately 7lbs when empty.
Q - How much water can a HydraBarrier hold?
A - A full 6ft Standard HydraBarrier can hold 9 to 10 gallons of water.
A 6ft HydraBarrier Ultra holds approximately 15 gallons of water. 12ft and 24 ft units hold 2 or 4 times that of the 6ft.
Q - What other applications are HydraBarriers used for?
A - In addition to water diversion and flood control, HydraBarriers are commonly used as anchors to secure possessions in windy conditions. They are also an excellent solution for anchoring tarps or other covers from blowing away in windy conditions. HydraBarriers are also used for storing and transporting non potable water.
